Freeze field value after initial update

Hi,

I have a query related to MDM Data Manager and wish to know if this can be achieved in MDM.

One of the fields in MDM Console to be created so that its value can be updated in Data manager. Post initial update its value should be freezed forever. This field values should not change after initial update (First update should be the last update).

Basically its for audit purpose.

Please let me know if this can be achieved in MDM.

Attempts so far:

I created a GM/ Date time stamp/ literal date stamp field in console trying to achieve this functionality but couldn't achieve the outcome. Tried making modification on change tracking options - no go.

Appreciate the response/ ideas to achieve this requirement.
